TURF TV APPOINTS ADRIAN FORD AS MANAGING DIRECTOR

Ford joins TurfTV after six years at Arsenal Football Club, where he held the position of Commercial Director. Prior to his appointment at Arsenal, Ford worked at Granada Media, EMAP Montgomery and bookmakers Coral, where he focused on business development.

Reporting to Alan Morcombe, Executive Chairman of AMRAC, Ford will be responsible for delivering the operational elements of TurfTV, as well as helping ensure that the company continues to meet its strategic aims and aspirations.

Morcombe said yesterday: “I am pleased that Adrian is joining us, at this important time for TurfTV. Having launched in April 2007, TurfTV has very quickly grown into a strong and established provider of high quality UK horseracing content to the betting industry. It was always envisaged that the appointment of an MD would be made once the business had achieved critical mass, to ensure it continues to develop. Adrian brings a fresh approach to the challenge and will look to build strong relationships with AMRAC’s bookmaker customers”.

Ford added: “I’m extremely excited about joining TurfTV as MD: it’s a young business, but one which has already built a great reputation for delivering on its promises and strategic objectives. My job is to ensure that TurfTV’s deserved reputation is taken forward and built upon.”
